Job Description
CTO is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager Intern to support the execution of construction and capital improvement projects across a multi-site retail portfolio. This role will provide exposure to real estate development, tenant construction, and asset management operations.
The intern will assist with project coordination, document management, budgeting support, and vendor communication, while gaining hands-on experience working alongside project managers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Specific duties are expected to include, but not limited to, performing the following:
- Support project managers in tracking active construction and tenant improvement projects across multiple properties
- Assist with invoice intake, logging, and tracking to ensure alignment with project budgets
- Help maintain project budgets, cost trackers, and forecasting tools
- Coordinate and organize project documentation including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
- Participate in bid and RFP processes, including organizing proposals and summarizing key information
- Track project schedules, milestones, and key deliverables
- Conduct site visits (as applicable) with team members to observe project progress and document conditions
- Assist with communication between internal teams (Leasing, Property Management, Accounting, etc.) and external vendors
- Support preparation of project updates, reports, and presentations
- Perform general administrative and analytical tasks to support the project management team
Work Environment & Expectations
- Hybrid role with a mix of office-based work and site visits across the Atlanta portfolio
- Local travel may be required and a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory
- There may be opportunities to travel to project sites out of state, but this is not required
- Collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple active projects

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in commercial real estate, construction, property management, or project management
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with project management tools is a plus (Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
