Controller – Privately Held $100M Revenue Company
Our client, a privately held organization with revenues exceeding $100M, is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to join their leadership team. This is a high-impact role responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive business performance. The position will begin as fully remote, with an expected transition to a hybrid schedule within the next year, offering both flexibility and long-term stability in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and financial planning
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax compliance activities
- Optimize accounting systems, processes, and reporting capabilities for scalability
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a leadership-level accounting or finance role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP
- Experience managing accounting operations in a $50M revenue environment preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve processes
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
