Duties
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment details, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting discrepancies or damages
- Maintain organized storage areas through stocking, inventory management software updates, and regular stock counts to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests and supporting order fulfillment processes efficiently
- Light installation of desks chairs
- Occasionally required to go out on the road with the team
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipping documentation
- Valid certification for forklift operation or experience with forklift driving is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if needed
- Strong data entry skills combined with attention to detail to ensure precise record keeping
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with international trade regulations is advantageous
- Excellent physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment
