We are currently seeking an Facility Maintenance Field Work Supervisor to support landfill management, operations, inspection, and maintenance services under subcontract to the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) for the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) and the Integrated Disposal Facility (IDF). CPCCo is a prime contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Hanford Site near Richland Washington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site facility maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and timelines.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct pre and post job briefings including planning meetings and lessons learned.
  • Maintain project schedules, tracking progress and addressing any delays or obstacles that arise during operations.
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conduct safety briefings and inspections to minimize on-site risks.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting work to confirm compliance with project specifications, designs, and industry standards.
  • Assist with resolving any on-site challenges or issues, working closely with the project management team to maintain project continuity.
  • Monitoring material usage, ensuring adequate critical facility spare parts/supplies are available on-site to avoid delays.
  • Prepare daily site reports documenting labor, materials, progress, and any issues encountered.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education, Experience And Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Facility maintenance or Facility operations supervision or related roles (required).
  • Experience in environmental regulations related to the operations of facilities (preferred).
  • Experience working on DOE, DoD, or commercial construction projects (preferred). Familiarity with managing subcontractors, coordinating site logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards (required).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.

The estimated compensation range for this position is $86,900 – $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
