So, what are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Control Room Integration Technician for our Allentown, PA, branch. The Control Room Integration Technician will work closely and in cooperation with the Control Room Team Leadership to perform the installation of assigned projects and assist with on-site coordination as required. This position requires a specific skill set to include the following:
We are looking for an experienced Control Room Integration Technician for our Allentown, PA, branch. The Control Room Integration Technician will work closely and in cooperation with the Control Room Team Leadership to perform the installation of assigned projects and assist with on-site coordination as required. This position requires a specific skill set to include the following:
- Mechanical expertise in the construction of video walls, displays, and projection cubes with a strong eye for color balancing
- Familiarity with video processing, including Windows OS installation and configuration
- Networking skills, including Multicast and network switch configuration
- General video knowledge of display resolution and DVI/HDMI, and Display Port signal types
- Must possess expert termination, wiring, and soldering skills as applicable
- Preferred: Experience with Barco and VuWall system installation and integration
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Must be physically capable of lifting and installing equipment of 50 lbs. minimum weight, climbing ladders, and performing other general construction support activities.
- Willingness to travel—up to 80% outside your metro area
Does experience count?
-3–5 years in AV operations, broadcast, or control room/mission-critical environments.
- Hands-on experience with AV systems, signal flow, and troubleshooting.
- CAT 6 cable construction: 1 year experience
- Soldering various style connectors: 1 year of experience
- Customer Service Experience: A must! As you can see, our customers are #1, and we need someone who can take care of them and treat them as such.
- Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
- Education: An Associate degree is preferred, but not required. We will take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
- The ability to lift over 50 pounds over your head, have a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check and a Criminal Background Check.

- A competitive pay rate $22-$40 /hr. (DOE).
