  • Design, validate, and implement tooling, fixtures, manufacturing aids, test equipment, and automation solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product documentation to support efficient production execution.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Participate in prototyping, pilot builds, production ramp-ups, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and efficient assembly.
  • Identify manufacturing risks, tooling requirements, process constraints, and documentation gaps early in product development.
  • Develop production methods, work instructions, fixtures, and test processes for new and revised products.
  • Support engineering changes and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Drive projects focused on cycle time reduction, yield improvement, throughput gains, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and cost savings.

  • Collaborate with Quality on corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, inspections, and process improvements.
  • Work with suppliers and Purchasing to address manufacturability, tooling, materials, and component-related challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational standards.

What Makes You Successful

  • You enjoy being on the production floor and solving real-world manufacturing challenges.
  • You take a hands-on, practical approach to continuous improvement.
  • You thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • You can balance immediate production needs with long-term improvement initiatives.
