Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern
We're seeking motivated Civil Engineering Co-op/Interns to support a variety of infrastructure projects under the supervision of a project manager. This role offers hands-on experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to solve real-world challenges in the design and construction of landfills, bridges, pipelines, dams, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Office Work
- Generate and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assemble high-quality project deliverables
- Write and edit technical reports
- Conduct engineering calculations and provide technical support for field activities
Field Work
- Perform field tests and site observations
- Prepare daily field reports and attend progress meetings
- Demonstrate consistent and exemplary safety compliance
- Alert project personnel to issues or non-conforming test results
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
- Eagerness to learn and an enthusiasm for growth
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams, including engineers, technicians, and non-technical personnel
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (CTI is a Drug-Free Workplace)
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to navigate active construction sites
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
