Facility Maintenance Lead– ERDF/IDF

We are currently seeking an Facility Maintenance Lead to support landfill management, operations, inspection, and maintenance services under subcontract to the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) for the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) and the Integrated Disposal Facility (IDF). CPCCo is a prime contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Hanford Site near Richland Washington.
Objective:
Maintain the facility in accordance with the Contract requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Schedules all facility maintenance and repair activities.
- Supervision of operations and facility maintenance/repair activities.
- Direct and control work of multi craft work force including subcontractors and visitors.
- Conduct pre and post job briefings including planning meetings and lessons learned
- Complete submittals for documenting the work performed as required by the contract
- Performs assessments & surveillances to ensure maintenance and repair activities comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
- Procures and maintains critical facility spare parts/supplies.
- Experienced in the principles, concepts and requirements utilized to maintain facilities on a DOE site.
- Experience in environmental regulations related to the operations of facilities.
- Understanding of DOE Work Control Processes.
- Experience in Lockout/Tagout
- Skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks independently, and to analyze and develop innovative solutions to problems.
- Supports Waste disposal operation
- Supports development of the Plan of the Day/Week.
Accountabilities
Work Environment
This is a field position primarily outdoors providing guidance to the Crafts. There is some work in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to work extensively in outdoor environments at commercial and residential properties, and at a soil repository. Also able to utilize a keyboard and similar equipment typically found in an office environment. In addition, this position requires the following:
- Lift up to 30 pounds without assistance using appropriate safety and lifting methods.
- Ability to work in harsh outdoor environments, including snow, rain, ice, and muddy conditions
Education & Certifications:
Minimum of a High School diploma
Experience & Requirements:
3 years’ relevant experience at a DOE site
Travel
Pay Range
$95,000 to $110,000

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
