Job Coach
Location: South Suburbs of Chicago
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Are you passionate about helping others develop skills, gain independence, and succeed in the workplace? CTF Illinois is seeking a compassionate and dependable Job Coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in vocational and community employment settings. In this role, you will provide hands-on training and support while helping individuals build skills, confidence, and independence on the job.
What You’ll Do
- Provide hands-on job training and coaching at vocational programs and community work sites.
- Teach and support individuals in completing assigned job duties based on their abilities and learning styles.
- Help individuals build independence and reduce supports as appropriate.
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and progress toward vocational goals.
- Provide retraining and support as needed to help individuals succeed.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with employers and worksite staff.
- Ensure work is completed according to employer expectations and contract requirements.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all CTF Illinois policies, employer requirements, safety procedures, and individual support plans.
- Assist with transportation to community employment sites when assigned.
- Represent CTF Illinois professionally in the community.
- Local travel required

Qualifications:What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide clear instruction, solve problems, and work independently.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and complete required documentation.
- Local travel required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
- Previous DSP certification preferred but not required.
Salary : $21
