This role is responsible for all building maintenance, automation equipment maintenance, upgrades, buildouts, and continuous improvement of the facility.
- 1st Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday
- Pay: $19.00 - 35.00/hour
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintenance of mechanical equipment (conveyors, robots, motors, pneumatic devices, control devices, scanners, photo-eyes, etc.).
- Understanding of equipment operation and basic trouble shooting for equipment controls (PLC, WES, WCS).
- Maintain daily logs, perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments as needed to keep the automation equipment in good working order.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution. This may require non-shift work.
- Assist with any automation system installation and retrofits as needed.
- Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives.
- Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow.
- 5 years of experience with building and automation equipment maintenance.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
- Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, control systems, warehouse equipment, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.
- Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
