Job Title: Estimator
Location: Georgetown, KY (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Potential Extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
Travel: Up to 10% (Domestic & International)
Experience: 3-10 Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects, including renovations, facility improvements, and new construction. The ideal candidate will analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate budgets and support project planning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for construction and renovation projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and bid-level estimates.
• Create quantity take-offs and bid proposals.
• Analyze contractor bids and identify scope gaps.
• Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of cost estimating, bidding, and project budgeting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, ProEst, RSMeans, or Accubid.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Experience with large-scale projects valued over $10M.
