CTC Group is seeking a Cloud Developer/Integrator to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems within cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud-native application development, microservices, containerization, and integration of software solutions to support scalable, highly available systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements for cloud-based applications
- Design, develop, modify, and integrate software components and microservices within cloud environments, preferably AWS
- Migrate existing applications to cloud platforms while evaluating system dependencies, interfaces, and performance requirements
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement container-based deployment strategies to support high-availability systems
- Develop and maintain application integrations using messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ and Kafka
- Debug software and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions
- Develop and execute software testing procedures, perform quality control, and maintain technical documentation
- Prepare after-action reports documenting technical findings, new requirements, and improvements to Tier 1 standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with systems engineers and development teams to coordinate software integration and deployment activities
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Recent experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Experience developing and integrating microservices and containerized applications
- Experience migrating applications to cloud environments
- Experience configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with ActiveMQ and/or Kafka messaging technologies
- Experience implementing deployment strategies for high-availability systems
- Experience with software integration, debugging, testing, and root cause analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
