Overall Purpose: Why the Job Exists &What You Will Do: |

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for insuring the smooth operation of the machinery and mechanical equipment in the Des Moines facility. This will includeperforming preventative maintenance and learning to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. |

Essential Job Functions &Expected Outcomes: Your Accountabilities in the Role |
- Maintenance
- Ability to work overtime hours as needed on breakdowns and project work. Unscheduled and unconventionalhours required.
- Monitor and maintain area 5S safety requirements.
- Ability to complete basic preventative maintenance like: greasing bearings, replacing saw blades, maintaining oil levels, etc.
- Ability to work on either electrical or mechanical issues as they arise within the facility. Aptitude and driveto learn to work on both electrical and mechanical issues.
- Ability to work autonomously on projects related to the basic building and groundsmaintenance. Thisincludes but is not limited to a snow removal, trimming of trees/shrubs, hanging/installing office equipment.
- Strong ability to prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assist in the disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements.
- Safety
- Responsible for maintaining a high safety standard throughout the plant (preventative and predictive maintenance, repairs, and improvements)
- Responsible to follow and execute plant safety programs (lockout/tagout, etc)
- Responsible to followall plant safety programs, more specifically lockout/tagout, safety walks, laser safety,Arc Flash safety, etc. as they are applicable to daily maintenance duties.

Position Requirements: |
- Education: None required, 2 year technical degree is preferred.
- Experience: None required, 1-2 years is preferred. Must have electrical or mechanical background and able to demonstrate a workingknowledge of the field.
- Certification(s): Ability to obtain and maintain forklift, overhead crane and additionallicenses as required.
- Functional Skills: Ability to read blueprints, ability to read and interpret drawings related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and schematic prints and drawings. Ability to operate overhead crane and forklift. Good knowledge of safe rigging principles.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Read write and do basic math. Must have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Must have either electricalor mechanical aptitude. Ability to utilize the Microsoft Suite and applicable maintenance software.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write,and communicate in English.
