- Manage Shipping Operations: Oversee daily operations of the shipping department, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.
- Use Oracle ERP Software to access daily shipping information.
- Supervise and train shipping staff, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with Carriers: Work with shipping companies, carriers, and freight forwarders to optimize shipping processes and costs.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Upload necessary shipping documentation and pictures to Oracle.
- Monitor Inventory levels and manage the process for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage continuous improvement projects in the shipping area.
- Develop standard procedures for all shipping processes.
- Monitor daily production and schedule.
- Reference engineering drawings.
- Communicate to purchasing any material and consumable shortages .
- Assist sequencing, ship dates, and deliveries of projects to customers.
- Coach, mentor, encourage, and maintain a lean culture.
