Autism Aide - Full Time

We are immediately hiring part time and full time Autism Aides! These position are available in our residential group home in Layton, supporting 4 awesome adults with Autism and other disabilities. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Schedules:

• Monday 2pm-10pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm, Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 2pm-10pm (40 hours/week)
• Saturday 2pm-10pm, Sunday 2pm-10pm (16 hours/week)

As an Autism Aide (aka Direct Support Professional/in-home caregiver), you will help the people we support achieve their personal goals and have fun while doing so!

The people we support love to have fun with each other and their staff! They love watching movies, Jazz games, listening to music, walks in the park, and playing video games. The world needs to know how awesome they are, and you can be the one to make that happen!

We help our clients with daily activities, including chores, cooking, and personal hygiene (toileting & showering). All the training you need is on-site and paid.

Applicants must be willing to drive clients in a CTA Company Vehicle (minivan), and meet the following requirements:

• Clean Driving record
• Utah Driver License
• 2 years of driving experience
• 19 years or older

Requirements:

• 19 years or older
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Willingness to help someone with personal hygiene (brief/diaper changes)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor
• Basic computer skills (Slack, Note Taking, Smart Phone Usage)
• Be outgoing, friendly, and have a positive attitude
• A desire to help individuals with Autism and special needs
