Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose Under limited supervision of the operating surgeon, sets up, operates, and manages technical life support equipment required for patients undergoing open heart surgery. What you will do Investigates and evaluates new technologies for increased efficiency and improved quality. Supervises perfusion staff and is responsible for management of the section. Position may require working at either campus or alternate sites. Full access to medications is given to the incumbent of this position because they are required by their job responsibilities to handle, prepare, or administer medications as dictated by the applicable scope of practice regulations. Minimum Qualifications Education: B.S. in sciences; graduate of perfusion school. Licensure:, CT state license.
