Parts Representative Opportunity Summary:
As a Parts Representative, you are responsible for efficiently handling and controls of the parts business through proper inventory, record keeping, delivery, and reporting.
Job Duties:
- Processing, pulling, and delivering or shipping parts to fulfill customer orders.
- Assisting service shop and mobile technicians in identifying parts necessary for repairs.
- Tracking daily use of parts and receiving orders.
- Creating Purchase Orders (POs) for weekly stock orders and reporting to the manager.
- Nurturing and maintaining relationships with the company's vendors and suppliers.
- Maintaining appropriate inventory readiness and warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Ensuring shop and mobile trucks are properly stocked and removing obsolete parts as deemed necessary.
Work Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Strong knowledge of product lines, i.e., Detroit Diesel and Allison.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forklift training.
