The Wildlife/Specialty Technicianis responsible for inspecting and assessing for pest, implementing a safe and effective solution, documenting the service and communicating with the customer.A valid driver's license and high school diploma required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Controlling pests on-site in a variety of accountsPhysically inspecting a variety of residential and commercial structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damageInterfacing directly with homeowners, homebuyers, and their agents regarding the work to be accomplishedDocumenting the type, degree, and location of infestationsDocumenting and conditions or recommendationsPerforming creative sales tactics and providing estimatesCoordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnelDetermining the costs, estimating the crew time, and scheduling workReceiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during business activitiesCompleting all workorders dailySubmitting all collections at least weeklyMaintain company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all timesEnsures company procedures, state / federal laws are followed to ensure the safety of themselves, our customers and the publicMaintain inventory and submit material restock orders for specialty servicesEvaluate problem accounts and determine resolutionsPerforming other duties as assignedIf you're interested in joining our team please email your resume with your qualifications.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityPaid time offReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Bonus payCommission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)CT Junior Pesticide Operator's License (Required)CT Nuisance Wildlife License (Required)
