Job Summary:
CT Laboratories, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented, hard-working individual to join our team as an Extractions Analyst. The Extractions Analyst is responsible for preparing, extracting, and concentrating a wide-variety of environmental samples for Semi-volatile methodologies, including SVOCs, Pesticides, Herbicides, PCBs, and DRO. The qualified applicant should value working for a small, family-owned business where the work you do actually has an impact on the success of the company.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing aqueous and solid samples via a variety of SW-846 Methods.
- Analyzing aqueous samples for Oil & Grease via EPA Method 1664A.
- Entering and/or capturing data into the Laboratory’s LIMS.
- Reviewing and/or writing preparatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Performing other job duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- A BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field is preferred but not required.
- Background in Organics or environmental testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with LIMS and standard laboratory procedures.
- Effective time management and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently.
