CT Fence & Gate is a growing, family-owned company looking for an Automatic Gate Technician/Installer to join our team. We install and service automatic gate systems for both residential and commercial customers, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work and getting the job done right.
In this position, you’ll work with a variety of automatic gate operators, access control systems, and related equipment. No two days are exactly the same — you may be installing a brand-new system one day and troubleshooting an existing gate the next.
What You’ll Do
- Install, wire, program, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gate operators and access control systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine the best solution
- Perform service calls and routine maintenance
- Work with hand and power tools
- Read wiring diagrams and equipment manuals
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide great service
- Work alongside our fence and gate installation crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Keep your work area, work truck, tools, and equipment organized
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with automatic gates, access control, electrical systems, or a related trade preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Able to work independently while also being part of a team
- Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to work outdoors
- Able to lift, carry, climb, and perform physical work as needed
- Monday-Friday no weekends.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
