This is a hands-on custodial position focused primarily on maintaining floors using commercial cleaning equipment, especially a floor scrubber, along with general custodial cleaning duties.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Primarily operate a commercial floor scrubber to clean and maintain floors
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain assigned floor areas
- Perform routine custodial and janitorial cleaning as needed
- Clean spills, dirt, debris, and buildup from assigned areas
- Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards
- Keep assigned areas clean, safe, and presentable
- Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns when needed
This Role Is Ideal for Someone Who:
- Has reliable transportation to the Schoolcraft work location
- Is comfortable working with commercial floor-cleaning equipment
- Has previous custodial, janitorial, commercial cleaning, or floor-care experience — preferred
- Can remain physically active throughout the shift
- Stays committed to their work

- Can work independently while also being part of a supportive team
