Multi-stop Delivery Driver with MedCard (Class 3)

Position Overview C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C and S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Job Description Benefits from day 1! Staring Pay $24.50/hr Benefits available from day 1 (medical, dental, vision) Company matched 401k C&S offers $100 towards the purchase of safety shoes Employee Discounts / Purchasing programs You Will Contribute By: Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C and S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck, eighteen-wheeler, box truck, etc.) Applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements All other duties as assigned Travel Required: Yes Environment Warehouse: Freezer (-20F to 0F) Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F) Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F) Skills Must be at least 21 years old Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam. Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements Enjoy working with people. Quality and customer-service focused.
