General Description:
This is a temporary full‐time position in which staff will test broadband coverage for wireless devices by driving to pre‐determined locations across Southern California.
Tentative Project Start Date*: September 15, 2026
*The start date may change closer to project initiation.
Details:
· No experience necessary - training and technical/administrative support will be provided
· The typical project period is between 5-7 weeks depending on the rate of progress
· Some overnight travel will occur
· Travel expenses will be reimbursed
· Rental vehicles will be provided and must be used
Requirements:
· Be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
· Be available on weekdays throughout the entire project period
· Be willing and able to travel overnight as required
· Be at least 21 years of age (required by the vehicle rental policy)
· Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
· Reside in California
· Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Hiring & Pay:
· From$20/hr DOE
· This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC) at CSUN
