The California State University, Dominguez Hills Toro Auxiliary Partners was incorporated in 1968 as a partner of the University to provide services and develop and enhance programs that are an integral part of the University's educational mission. CSU Dominguez Hills (“CSUDH”) is a highly diverse, metropolitan university primarily serving the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. Established in 1960, CSU Dominguez Hills is one of the twenty-three campuses that comprise the California State University system.

Position Summary

The THLA Project Analyst provides operational, administrative, and analytical support for the Toros Heal LA (THLA) initiative. This position supports program implementation across multiple academic programs and colleges by coordinating administrative processes, managing program documentation, supporting communications and outreach, and assisting with program tracking and reporting activities. The position works closely with the Project Director, faculty program leads, student services staff, and community partners to ensure efficient implementation of program activities including tracking student scholarships, internship coordination, workforce development activities, and grant reporting. The role assists with project communications, event coordination, and administrative processes that support cross-college collaboration and student success. 

This position is full-time, benefited, and non-exempt.

Salary Range: $60,000-67,000 


Duties and Responsibilities 

Program Operations and Administrative Coordination (40%)

  • Provide administrative and operational support for the THLA initiative.
  • Coordinate program communications, scheduling, and documentation across participating programs and colleges.
  • Assist with organizing meetings, program activities, and stakeholder engagement events.
  • Maintain program files, documentation, and operational records.
  • Support coordination of cross-college meetings involving faculty, program directors, and administrative leaders.

Program Data Tracking and Reporting Support (25%)

  • Assist with tracking program data including student participation, internship placements, and program activities.
  • Support preparation of reports related to grant activities and program outcomes.
  • Maintain program records and databases supporting THLA operations.
  • In coordination with the Clinical and Internship Workforce Strategist, assist with data collection required for grant reporting and program evaluation.

Financial and Administrative Process Support (20%)

  • Assist with administrative processes related to scholarships, student support funding, and program expenses.
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid and other campus offices regarding scholarship administration and student support processes.
  • Monitor administrative transactions related to program operations, including purchasing, travel, and event logistics.
  • Support budget tracking and documentation for program expenditures.

Outreach and Communications Support (10%)

  • Support marketing, outreach, and communication activities for the THLA initiative.
  • Assist with preparation of program materials, informational resources, and outreach communications.
  • Coordinate logistics for program events, workshops, and recruitment activities.

Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

  • Perform additional duties in support of THLA and related workforce initiatives as may be assigned by Supervisor and/or Administrator.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public/health administration, social/health sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in program administration, project coordination, or administrative operations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience coordinating administrative processes, meetings, and program activities.
  • Proficiency in office software, data tracking systems, and administrative record management.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of or demonstrated ability to learn budgeting, financial tracking, and grant administration, including compliance and reporting requirements in a higher education or public sector environment
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, or the capacity to quickly develop proficiency (e.g., Excel, data tracking, and program metrics)
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects across multiple stakeholders, with a willingness to learn university processes and systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to new responsibilities
  • Ability to manage detailed financial and administrative processes independently, with a strong aptitude for learning and adapting to evolving project and grant requirements


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a higher education environment.
  • Experience supporting grant-funded programs or workforce development initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating student programs, events, or outreach activities.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and community partners.

Employment at TAP is on an at-will basis and can be terminated by either an employee or TAP at any time with or without cause or advanced notice. Permanent status can neither be obtained nor granted

Salary : $60,000 - $67,000
