CST Industries, Inc., a global leader in storage tank systems and geodesic aluminum domes, is seeking experienced Construction Field Foremen to join our growing field construction team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for individuals with experience in bolted steel tank erection, geodesic dome installation, industrial construction, or related tank construction. The Field Foreman is responsible for leading field crews while actively participating in the safe, efficient, and quality installation of CST products at customer sites throughout the United States.

This position requires extensive nationwide travel and the ability to remain on the road for extended periods based on project schedules.

What You'll Do

As a Construction Field Foreman, you will lead field crews and coordinate daily jobsite activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to CST and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise crews performing the erection and installation of bolted steel storage tanks and geodesic aluminum domes.
• Participate directly in tank and dome erection activities alongside the crew.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and provide direction to Field Technicians and Lead Technicians.
• Perform and oversee tank/dome layout, material inventory, material identification, and installation activities.
• Ensure work is performed according to project drawings, specifications, and established CST erection procedures.
• Complete and submit required electronic field documentation, including:
• Daily reports
• Employee timesheets
• Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Safety documentation
• Project progress reports
• Progress photographs
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure crew compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
• Identify jobsite hazards and take appropriate corrective action.
• Safely operate and oversee the use of construction equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, aerial/man lifts, and other erection equipment.
• Safely use hand tools, impacts, wrenches, lineup bars, and other construction tools.
• Maintain project materials, equipment, tools, and company property.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Communicate project progress, manpower needs, equipment needs, and jobsite concerns to Construction Management.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and other contractors as necessary.
• Complete required DOT paperwork and vehicle documentation when applicable.
• Assist with training and development of Field Technicians and future crew leaders.

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

• Previous bolted steel tank, geodesic dome, tank erection, steel erection, or similar industrial construction experience.
• Previous Foreman, Lead, or construction crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of safe tank and/or dome erection practices.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings and project specifications.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a field construction crew.
• Ability to complete electronic reports, timesheets, emails, and other required documentation.
• Ability to work safely at heights of up to approximately 150 feet.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet CST requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements when assigned DOT-regulated driving responsibilities.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening.

Preferred Safety Certifications

• OSHA 30
• MSHA Part 48, when applicable
• First Aid/CPR
• Fall Protection
• Safety Essentials (Basic Plus) or equivalent industrial safety training
• Equipment Operator Certifications

Additional project- or customer-specific training may be required.

Travel & Work Schedule

This is a nationwide traveling construction position, not a local position. Candidates must be comfortable traveling from project to project and remaining away from home for extended periods.

Project schedules may require:

• Extended workdays
• Overtime
• Weekend work
• Consecutive workdays
• Travel between projects
• Airline and vehicle travel

Flexibility and dependability are essential for this position.
