What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist position at CST Academy?
CST Academy is a leading outpatient multidisciplinary practice specializing in providing life-changing therapeutic services to autistic children and children with related developmental delays. In addition to outpatient services, we offer a therapeutic preschool program within our clinics.
CST Academy is currently seeking a part-time licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Our team also has full-time opportunities available.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide in-clinic, individualized, evidence-based therapy to pediatric clients
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, and ABA therapists
- Educate and empower parents with home strategies
- Participate in a highly collaborative, team-centered environment
Necessary skills and attributes include:
- Openness to working with children of all ages and with a variety of disorder areas
- Pediatric experience preferred
- The ability to “connect” with children and parents
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Creative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Access to personal transportation
- Experience with feeding therapy is a plus
