With a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and quality workmanship, we support state agencies and private operators with well service rigs, cementing, wireline, heavy equipment, and full site reclamation services.
We are expanding our team and seeking a Wireline Operator to support our growing workload in the orphan well plugging market.
Position Overview
The Wireline Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating wireline equipment, performing downhole logging, running CCL and bond logs, setting mechanical and explosive tools, and supporting plugging operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate wireline truck and equipment for well plugging and service operations
- Run CCL, bond logs, caliper logs, setting tools, and explosive charges
- Assist with rig-up/rig-down of wireline equipment
- Maintain proper records of jobs, tools, and explosive handling
- Work closely with field supervisors, rig crews, and cementing teams
- Ensure all tasks follow CSR safety procedures and state/federal regulations
- Troubleshoot downhole tool issues
- Perform routine maintenance on wireline truck and tools
- Travel between job sites as required (primarily PA, OH, WV)
Qualifications
- Prior wireline experience preferred (electric line or slickline)
- Valid driver's license (CDLRequired)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor/field conditions
- Strong safety mindset and situational awareness
- Blaster certification is required
- Must be able to obtain Employee Possessor cert with ATF
