CSQUARE is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Developer who is eager to develop and grow their technical skills and contribute to the development and support of systems that enable business operations. As part of the development team, you will help build solutions that support the constantly expanding technology needs of CSQUARE. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior developers and business stakeholders to learn best practices, assist with application development, and support ongoing enhancements. Responsibilities
Development & Data Integrity – 60%
- Assist in developing new system features and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into basic technical solutions.
- Perform configuration, scripting, testing, and documentation of assigned tasks.
- Follow coding standards and learn secure development practices.
- Support efforts to maintain data quality and accuracy across the platform.
Support – 30%
- Provide day‑to‑day support for existing applications and integrations within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot issues by identifying problems, reviewing logs, and collaborating with senior team members on root cause analysis.
- Assist with routine administrative tasks such as user management, role assignments, and form updates.
Training & Professional Growth – 10%
- Learn new ServiceNow modules, scripting techniques, and platform features as directed by the team.
- Participate in internal training, sprint reviews, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and updates.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field
- 0–2 years of experience in Information Technology or application development
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform (coursework or hands‑on experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or another programming language
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Exposure to ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, or Reporting
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, or other front‑end technologies
- Understanding of REST APIs or basic integration concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
