What are the responsibilities and job description for the NIC American Sign Language Interpreter (St. Paul, MN) position at CSPC Solutions?
Position Description: Job duties include providing in-person ASL Interpretation services for Deaf employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in St. Paul, MN. VRI services may also be requested on occasion to support virtual meetings with external and geographically separated participants. Service requests will range in duration from a minimum of two to nine hours during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding 11 federal holidays. Assignment longer than two hours will be staffed with a minimum of two Interpreters. Interpreters will be hired and paid on a part-time, hourly basis.

Discussions on work procedures, policies, or assignments for formal and informal settings
Quarterly performance discussions
Annual performance appraisals
Disciplinary discussions

All Hands meetings
Required Qualifications:
-Over the age of 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
-Possess reliable transportation to the service location
-National Interpreter Certification (NIC)
-Experience performing ASL interpretation in government settings is highly preferred.
