Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Data Analyst with strong experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance to join our client’s team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on expertise in P&C projects, strong analytical capabilities, and deep understanding of claims, policy lifecycle, and insurance accounting processes. This role requires strong SQL skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and experience building enterprise-grade, distributed data solutions.

Role Description: -

• This is a full-time/Contract hybrid role for a Senior Business System Analyst at our Client location in Jersey City, NJ. Local to New York, New Jersey.
• Recent experience in property and casualty insurance project.
• Good knowledge on claims, policy life cycle, insurance, accounting.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Good to have - Reinsurance, AI
• The role involves tasks such as business systems analysis, systems analysis, and defining business requirements.
• Reviewing the Mapping documents from source to destination.
• Leading the development team and making sure the deliverables are according to the acceptance criteria.
• Leading large team, managers in building large scale, highly available distributed Data.
• Strong experience in building production grade enterprise solutions.

Qualifications: -

• 7 years of experience working as Business Data Analyst
• Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills
• Analytical Skills and Business Analysis abilities
• Experience in defining and documenting business requirements
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Hands on SQL
