Lead Quality & Clinical Excellence Across Senior Living Communities
Coordinated Services Management (CSM) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support and oversee quality care, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations across multiple assisted living and skilled nursing communities throughout Virginia.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-community environment and is passionate about improving resident care, mentoring nursing leadership teams, and ensuring operational excellence.
This position requires extensive weekly travel to communities throughout Virginia, as well as regular travel to the CSM Home Office in Roanoke, VA.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Quality & Regulatory Oversight
- Conduct monthly audits and on-site clinical reviews at assisted living and skilled nursing communities
- Evaluate medication administration, charting, infection control practices, incident reports, staffing, and resident care systems
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and quality assurance standards
- Develop corrective action plans and follow through on implementation
- Assist communities with survey readiness and plans of correction
Leadership Support & Training
- Mentor and support Directors of Nursing and community leadership teams
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of nursing leadership staff
- Coordinate educational workshops, peer reviews, and clinical training initiatives
- Provide operational support to communities needing additional clinical oversight or guidance
Operational & Risk Management Support
- Assist with investigations related to resident or family concerns
- Monitor MDS, care planning, infection control, and documentation systems
- Support new community openings and operational transitions
- Review healthcare vendor contracts and compliance annually
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing required
- Extensive experience in skilled nursing and assisted living required
- Multi-site clinical leadership or quality assurance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Experience with infection control, MDS, quality assurance, and clinical systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel extensively on a weekly basis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Point Click Care
