What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at CSM, Inc.?
Hiring immediately experienced Welders/Fitters/Fabricators. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Some projects and deadlines may require periodic overtime.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders
- Measure, cut, grind and fit parts
- Perform MIG, and TIG welding based on project needs
- Drive Forklift periodically
- Operate small hand and power tools
- Assist/operate other shop equipment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Medium to high skill level
- Experience with operation and set up a commercial welder
- Knowledge of metal fabrication and safety practices
- Work minimum of 40 hours per week
- Experience working with power tools and measuring devices.
- Have basic tools and welding gear.
- Lift 50 lbs
