In this leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering strong business results through effective coaching, strategic account execution, and fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop Talent: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Area Sales Managers to achieve and exceed performance goals. Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Drive Business Performance: Execute regional business plans aligned to national strategy. Translate strategic priorities into clear actions that deliver sales growth and market share gains.
- Execute Strategic Account Management: Ensure strong execution across priority neurologists, nephrologists, and key accounts. Drive a coordinated, account-based approach to maximize portfolio performance.
- Build Key Relationships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and health systems. Collaborate cross-functionally to address barriers and unlock opportunities.
- Leverage Data & Insights: Monitor business performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Recruit & Strengthen the Team: Attract, develop, and retain top talent. Support the professional growth of ASMs through coaching and development planning.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7 years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience
- Prior field leadership experience preferred
- Proven track record of delivering strong sales performance
- Experience in specialty, biologics, neurology, nephrology, or immunology preferred
- Field-based role with 50–75% travel
- Reports to: National Sales Director
- Direct Reports: Area Sales Managers
