CSL Technology Solutions is growing and expanding into new business areas. We are looking for an Electrical Project Lead to help oversee electrical project coordination, field support, and project execution.
This role is a good fit for someone with electrical, commercial construction, or project management experience who can work with field teams, customers, vendors, and internal staff to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Position Summary
The Electrical Project Lead will be responsible for overseeing field project coordination and providing onsite support for electrical and commercial construction projects.
This position is approximately 50% office-based and 50% field-based. The Electrical Project Lead will help plan, coordinate, and support project work from start to finish. This includes communicating with field teams, tracking project needs, supporting jobsite activity, reviewing schedules, and helping ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field project coordination for electrical and commercial construction projects
- Provide onsite support to field technicians, electricians, subcontractors, and project teams
- Coordinate daily and weekly project needs with internal teams and field staff
- Help review project schedules, work plans, job requirements, and project timelines
- Assist with planning labor, materials, tools, equipment, and site needs
- Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team members as needed
- Support project setup, progress tracking, and closeout activities
- Monitor field progress and help identify issues that may affect safety, schedule, budget, or quality
- Help resolve jobsite questions, delays, material needs, or coordination issues
- Review job specifications, drawings, blueprints, scopes of work, and project documents
- Ensure project work follows company standards, customer requirements, and applicable codes
- Support safe work practices on jobsites and help maintain a safety-focused work environment
- Document project updates, work progress, jobsite needs, and related activities
- Assist with work order review, change order coordination, and project documentation
- Work with leadership to improve field operations and project efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Project management experience
- Electrical or commercial construction experience
- Ability to coordinate field work and support multiple project needs
- Ability to read and understand project documents, scopes of work, blueprints, or job specifications
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with field teams, office staff, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to identify project issues and help create practical solutions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Valid Ohio or US driver’s license
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Physically and comfortable working at heights as needed
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and to move around in different work environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical field experience
- Commercial or industrial construction experience
- Experience leading field crews or coordinating subcontractors
- Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices
- Experience with project scheduling, work orders, change orders, or project closeout documentation
- Experience with lighting, electrical systems, controls, panels, or commercial electrical installations
- Experience working in a fast-paced service, construction, or project-based environment

Work Environment
This role includes both office work and field work. The Electrical Project Lead should be comfortable working in an office setting, visiting active jobsites, walking project areas, reviewing work progress, and communicating with field teams.
Field work may include indoor and outdoor jobsite conditions. Some travel to project locations is required with occasional overnight stays.
