GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the storage, distribution, shipping, and receiving functions from the warehouse. Ensures shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner while protecting warehouse contents from loss.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervise all warehouse functions including receiving, picking, pulling, and shipping operations to ensure that activities are performed to accomplish set customer service goals
- Provide direction and proper motivation to lead employees while ensuring the daily workload is completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Communicates with other members of management and departments to ensure that company and department goals are met
- Instruct and provide oversight to ensure the proper execution of all established quality, safety, and sanitation practices of the warehouse
- Ensure inventory is matched to invoices and recorded with 100% accuracy in a timely manner
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and back-ordered items
- Oversee inspections of material handling equipment and ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Utilizes company policies and enforces safety regulations in adherence to OSHA safety standards
- Review and monitor product flow to ensure the company is able to meet customer demand at all times
- Responsible for and supervises inventory control process with 100% accuracy

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience with experience in the layout, inventory control, packaging, pick/pack/ship, and material handling
- 3 years of supervisory experience
M-F, 1st shift 8am-5pm
