If it happens in the ring, we’re behind it. CSI Sports is seeking a Post-Production Associate/Assistant Video Editor who can grow into a key member of the production team. This position in our Jersey City office will utilize their meticulous attention to detail and their expertise with Adobe Creative Suite as we develop new content for domestic and international channel distribution as well as for digital platforms. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of digital tools, a passion for combat sports (especially boxing), a creative eye, and work well in both an individual and team environment. The Post-Production Associate/Assistant Video Editor will:Create timelines in Adobe Premiere featuring program footage, b-roll, graphics and interview clipsEdit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelinesCreate music cue sheets for all music used within programmingPrep for edits and assist senior editors in creation of longform and shortform content including feature packages, documentary series, live shows, promos and sizzle reelsCreate and edit graphics for broadcast & thumbnails for digital using Adobe After Effects & PhotoshopEdit & post Daily News segment on social media platformsCreate tag pages for promos & assist in the creation of promosCreate digital content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTokDeliver final productions for broadcast and digital platforms to the required specificationsQC shows before they air to ensure there are no technical/creative issuesLog shows creating rich metadata to maximize its value on various media assets.Create detailed and accurate Format sheets for showsAttend Live Events & media week events including public workouts, weigh-ins and press conferences to help conduct interviews and obtain footageMonitor live events to ensure flawless execution & edit live highlights for posting on social media Qualifications and ExperienceAt least 2 years post-college experience editing & creating graphics for a post-production house or networkMust be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)Knowledge of the sport of boxing & experience editing for boxing and/or MMA preferredHave experience editing content for broadcast & digitalKnow how to normalize audio, create a mix-minus & edit shows to proper broadcast and social media specificationsFamiliar with social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTokExcellent oral and written communicationWorks well in fast-paced and changing environmentStrong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneouslyAble to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed to hit deadlines and work on live eventsBachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study) or equivalent practical experienceThis is a full 5 day in-office position; remote work is not available Compensation: commensurate with experienceBenefits: Eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off and sick leave.Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance.Company DescriptionCSI Sports is a leading Multimedia Company that owns and operates FIGHT SPORTSTM the 24/7 live sports network and acquires, produces and distributes fight related content that is exhibited weekly in the US and International markets.
