Marketing Specialist
What You Will Do
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist who understands the local market and can strategically position CSI Global for continued growth. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that directly support our Business Development efforts and strengthen our presence within the engineering, construction, and built‑environment sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of regional industry dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, enabling them to craft targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive qualified opportunities. Key responsibilities include creating marketing materials, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, supporting business development outreach, coordinating events, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. This individual will work closely with the business development team to align marketing strategies with revenue goals, provide insights that inform client engagement, and help position CSI Global, as a trusted leader in the market. Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling content are essential.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels including social media, email, SEO, and advertising to maximize reach and engagement and align with business development objectives.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, digital content, and advertising materials.
- Manage and optimize digital and traditional marketing channels (website, social media, email campaigns, print, etc.) to build brand awareness and foster community interaction.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline campaign workflows, nurture leads, and analyze campaign performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, regional trends, customer needs, and competitive insights that inform strategic decision-making
- Provide insights and analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor campaign performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements for ongoing optimization.
- Support business development outreach through targeted campaigns and client engagement initiatives
- Coordinate, promote, and attend events, conferences, and industry engagements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging content
Who We Are Looking For
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in engineering, construction, or professional services
- Strong research skills and understanding of regional market dynamics and industry trends
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of SEO best practices and social media marketing strategies.
- Ability to translate technical information into compelling, audience-friendly content
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), email marketing, social media, analytics tools,
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with multichannel marketing approaches including print advertising, e-commerce platforms, and product management systems.
- Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics and other analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic adjustments.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe InDesign, or design software for content creation and visual assets development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in the built environment (construction, MEP, HVAC, mechanical/electrical contracting, or civil engineering) strongly preferred
Compensation, Budget, and Travel
- Salary range budgeted for this role: $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience
- Work schedule: 9am – 5pm (M-F)
- Work location: In Office
- Travel: 10% travel required as needed
- Transportation: mileage reimbursement for business travel
