What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support / Device Technician position at CSI Companies?
One of our healthcare clients is expanding their deployment team and is hiring Device Technicians to support a large-scale hardware refresh across multiple hospital and clinical locations in the Kalamazoo area.
This is a hands-on, onsite role ideal for IT professionals with experience in PC deployment, imaging, hardware setup, and end-user support who are looking for steady project work in a healthcare environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deploying, imaging, configuring, and validating PCs, monitors, and peripherals
- Supporting workstation refreshes in clinical and administrative areas
- Troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, and basic software issues
- Working closely with deployment leads and other technicians onsite
- Documenting completed installs and issues following deployment standards
- Traveling between Beacon Health sites (local travel only)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Device Technician, IT Field Tech, Desktop Support, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with PC imaging, setup, and hardware refresh projects
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic troubleshooting
- Prior experience in healthcare or hospital IT is a plus (Epic or Cerner exposure preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
- Ability to work full-time through March 2026
Role Details
- Schedule: Primarily weekday business hours (some flexibility may be required)
- Location: Kalamazoo, MI nearby sites/facilities
- Pay: $23–$28/hr W2
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.55/mile for local travel
