Type: Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 - 12 Month Contract to Permanent Hire
Pay: $75 - $85/hour W2
Conversion Salary: Will convert at $150,000 - $175,000 annually

Overview:
The Director, Product Strategy plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing next-generation media planning and buying platforms. This leader identifies, develops, and manages key strategic partnerships, continuously scans the industry landscape, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strong product alignment and adoption. They will guide the strategic direction and workflow of the core SaaS platform, including the AI agents and assistants built into it. Additionally, they oversee the prioritization of product development initiatives and foster a high-performance team environment to support the organization’s aggressive growth objectives
Responsibilities:
- SaaS Platform Vision & Roadmap: Drive the long-term strategy and evolution of the company’s SaaS platform, defining and prioritizing key partners, technologies, and solution areas that best support overall business goals.
- AI Integration & Product Strategy: Oversee the planning and prioritization of AI features—including agents, assistants, and generative AI capabilities—embedded within the SaaS ecosystem.
- Technology & Market Scanning: Perform ongoing evaluations of industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential strategic partners to strengthen product capabilities and maintain competitive positioning.
- Unified Operating System Experience: Lead efforts to streamline and unify functionality across the operating system to create a cohesive user experience, reduce manual downstream tasks, and enable teams to focus on higher-value strategic work.
- Cross-Functional Product Alignment: Partner closely with teams across product development, marketing, and sales to align solutions, consolidate overlapping capabilities, and drive platform adoption internally and externally.
- Collaboration on Customer Targeting & Emerging Tech: Work in lockstep with product strategy groups focused on customer targeting and new technologies to ensure their initiatives integrate smoothly with core planning and buying platforms.
- Roadmap Governance & Prioritization: Engage senior leadership to negotiate and align development priorities, ensuring the roadmap reflects customer requirements, industry direction, and strategic business needs.
People Leadership & Management:
- Provide oversight and guidance to management-level team members and uphold high standards of work quality.
- Create and maintain development plans for direct reports and ensure all team members have clear, actionable growth paths.
- Monitor staff performance against defined goals, offering continuous coaching and support to drive excellence.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and manage the full review process for assigned team members.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in technology partnerships, product management, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing complex technical systems and applications
- Deep understanding of the software development landscape and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Experience in the Advertising IT and/or Marketing IT industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
