*We are looking for experienced technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hot side commercial foodservice equipment/HVAC/R in the Kansas City metro area.
Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician
Cooking / Refrigeration / HVAC
- Up to $45 per hour-experience driven (not capped)

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
- Identify service problems, collect data, and determine appropriate repairs
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and service recommendations
- Complete service documentation using electronic dispatch software
- Coordinate with the Parts and Service Departments to ensure parts availability and follow-up service
- Maintain truck stock inventory
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers for diagnostic support and parts identification
- Follow all safety procedures and accident prevention practices
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
- Maintain productivity standards
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in commercial food equipment repair or a related field
- Experience with gas, electric, plumbing, or steam equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with insurable record
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Must own standard industry hand tools
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification required
- CFESA certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry 50–75 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to work on rooftops and ladders
- Safe use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment
Work Environment
- Daily travel to customer locations
- Work in commercial kitchens and mechanical spaces, potential rooftops
- Exposure to high temperatures, grease, and mechanical equipment
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
