Ambulance Maintainer (full time w/ benefits)
Position is located in Albuquerque NM
Job Summary
The Ambulance Maintainer is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of CSI Ground Ambulances. The Ambulance Maintainer is an hourly position who reports directly to the Director of Ambulance Services. Hours for this position may be unusual and require significant travel. Expertise in the safe operation of ambulances and a desire to train others is essential.
Essential Tasks/Functions
· Equipment and stock ambulances as directed by the Director of Ambulance Services to ensure compliance with all state and federal statutes regarding a licensed ambulance.
· Maintain proper and timely maintenance of all CSI Ambulances with the goal of maximizing in-service rates.
· Directly inspect remote ambulances.
· Enact the maintenance schedule and rotation for ambulances.
· Assist the Director of Ambulance Services in training new drivers as required.
· Conduct routine maintenance on ambulances such as (but not limited to): oil and filter changes, brake inspections and replacements, vehicle exterior maintenance (to include routine washing), DOT inspections, etc.
· Assist the Director of Ambulance Services with the inspection and outfitting of new ambulances as required.

Preferred Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma
Professional Licensure/Certifications: Ambulance Technician Certifications preferred
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Ambulance Maintenance
