Production Manager

CSG are partnered with a leading manufacturer of Food products, who are searching for a Production Manager in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the production line and ensure all safety guards are in place before starting.
• Confirm all materials are available for the day's production and monitor any product or material loss.
• Supervise employees on the line, ensuring they follow safety rules, wear proper PPE, and adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Train new employees on line positions and safety procedures, and provide guidance as employees rotate roles.
• Communicate any equipment issues to maintenance and any quality or labelling concerns to QA.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Manage timely changeovers when needed.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are followed and escalate issues beyond your control.
• Support production of safe, high-quality products.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a must.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and operate different equipment on the production line.
• Ability to train and guide others.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in a plant environment.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (accommodations available if needed).
• Perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, and using hands/wrists for machine adjustments and computer operation.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
