Are you a commercially driven sales professional with hands-on experience in the US poultry industry, particularly in layer production?
Our client is an established and growing feed additive company with a strong and differentiated product portfolio. They are looking to appoint a Poultry Sales Manager to drive business growth across key US poultry producing regions, with a primary focus on the layer segment.
Please note: This is a commercial sales role. Technical knowledge of poultry production and nutrition is important, but the primary focus is developing new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering sustainable sales growth.
The Role
- Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts across the US poultry market
- Build strong relationships with layer producers, integrators, nutritionists, veterinarians, and distribution partners
- Promote a portfolio of specialty feed additive solutions using a consultative, science based sales approach
- Manage your territory to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Identify new market opportunities and support long-term customer partnerships
- Represent the business at industry events, producer meetings, and trade shows
What We Are Looking For
- Proven B2B sales experience within animal nutrition, feed additives, or animal health
- Strong understanding of the US poultry industry - layer experience is essential
- An established network of contacts within commercial layer operations
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage key customer relationships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a remote role
- Midwest based: Candidates must be located within the territory
- Willingness to travel throughout key poultry producing regions (2-3 nights per week)
