Simformotion™, a leader in simulation training and development, is seeking an Advanced WordPress Developer with strong full stack web-app development experience to support our product support sites. This is a contract/freelance role requiring someone who can deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions within a WordPress infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain advanced WordPress-based web applications.
- Build and optimize solutions using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Integrate and manage 3rd party libraries and APIs (experience with tools like DataTables required).
- Ensure clean, secure, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing WordPress-based functionality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
- Strong programming knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Prior experience working with 3rd party products/libraries (e.g., DataTables) and external APIs.
- Proven ability to work across the full stack (front-end, back-end, database, and integrations).
- Solid understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and security.
