Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our education practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all designs meet client specifications and adhere to industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Duties
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
- Engage in business development efforts to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.
- Oversee construction management processes, ensuring quality control.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes but is not limited to:
- Licensed Architect in California with 7-10 years experience in K-12 and Higher Education projects.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Ability to meet Clients and prepare design materials including programming and design presentations.
- Portfolio of completed Education Projects in California.
- Experience working with School Boards, Facilities Departments, and School Bond Managers at School Districts.
- Experience working with DSA.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and management techniques.
- Expertise with Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
- Solid understanding of contracts related to construction projects.
- Experience in budgeting for architectural projects.
- Ability to oversee drafting tasks with precision.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail-oriented project execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
