Manager, Global Procurement & Vendor Management

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00 pm
CSC's Global Subsidiary Management team is seeking a leader to oversee our global vendor network and knowledge management ecosystem spanning more than 140 jurisdictions. This role has direct influence on service delivery quality, cost management, operational scalability, and the client experience across GSM's global footprint.
The successful candidate will lead strategic vendor partnerships, drive operational efficiencies, strengthen our global knowledge infrastructure, and develop a team responsible for supporting these critical capabilities.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Vendor Strategy & Procurement
- Lead global vendor network strategy across 140 jurisdictions
- Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing structures
- Drive cost savings and vendor consolidation initiatives
- Establish vendor performance standards and scorecards
Knowledge Management & Operational Excellence
- Own governance and strategy for GSM's global knowledge base
- Improve data quality, usability, and content lifecycle management
- Partner with Operations and Technology on process improvements
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing global team
- Establish goals and performance expectations
- Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
These are the technical skills, experience and qualifications that would make someone successful:
- Experience leading vendor management, procurement, supplier management, operations, knowledge management, or related business functions.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
- Proven success developing and managing strategic vendor relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, driving cost optimization initiatives, and improving vendor performance.
- Experience managing operational processes, knowledge management programs, content governance, or similar functions that support service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
- Interest in and practical application of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve productivity, decision-making, and user experience.
