Job Description
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a manufacturing facility in the Lynchburg, VA area. This individual MUST have a Mechanical Engineering degree and experience working on projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. Ideal industries could be chemical, polymer, plastics, paper, pulp, metals, steel, or other industrial materials manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience, but we will consider 1-2 years or more than 5 years if they have the right background.
This candidate should have experience with projects involving piping, pumping, installation of equipment, machinery & equipment selection, etc. This Project Engineer will work closely with Project Management and Plant Management to complete important plant implementations, equipment installs, etc.
Experience in high speed manufacturing lines, automation, and processes involving water and flow in pipes is desirable.
Target salary range is $80k to $90k with a bonus of 15%, but can be higher for the right candidate.
This is for immediate hire. Relocation assistance is available.
