Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day logistics activities.
- Daily management, coordination of international & domestic shipments with shippers/warehouse, and carriers.
- Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and monitor/or tender shipments.
- Source carriers and negotiate rates.
- Track and trace all shipments and load status.
- Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution.
- Confirm rates with carriers.
- Responsible for cost containment of shipment.
- Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of delivery.
- Lane analysis is required in order to select the most appropriate mode.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
- Manage shipper and carrier relationships.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- 4 years of experience in freight auditing, logistics accounting, or transportation invoice processing
- Experience with FTL, LTL, NVOCC, air freight, small package, warehousing, import/export consolidations, world distributions, and project cargo/heavy haul
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
