Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and manage data entry.
- Maintain effective communication with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via phone systems.
- Monitor fleet management operations to optimize routes and reduce delays.
- Handle dispatching duties while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when addressing inquiries or resolving issues.
- Upload dispatch documents.
- Experience in dispatching is preferred but willing to train candidate if needed.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and data entry software.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with drivers and clients.
- Knowledge of freight operations and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
