Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional. This positon would also have some cleaning responsibilities.
Pay will be based off experience and diverse skill set.
Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and flooring.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Clean customer locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team under supervision.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- MUST have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
